The annual Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival (KLPF) is back. Same as last year, it is held at Berjaya Times Square on 18 & 19 Oct 2008. KLPF is the Malaysia version of Photokina where manufacturers will be there to showcase their latest photography gear and retailers will be there having some 'sales'.
PhotoMalaysia.com is having a booth there this year and they have actually opened to their forumers a chance to showcase some of the forumers' photos. I thought of giving it a shot at the last minute and submitted some photos. Was a little bit surprise that one of my photo make it to the submission and will be at PM.com booth. Look out for the below photo at PM.com booth :)

A lot of people will know Sri Petaling, but Salak South Garden, alot of people will not know it although it's just next to Sri Petaling unless of course you are from this area.
This is the place i grow up. And there is one famous tall building named the 12-storey building. This is the building I can't miss. I used to go to the barber there, the kopitiam there, the nasi lemak there, my tuition, my nanny and it's a route i can't miss while on my way to and fro my primary school. It has been seriously quite some time since I last go there, as such I took the opportunity to go there and took some pictures

The view from the highest floor. You can see Menara TM on the right of the photo and at left are the condos at Bukit Jalil.

Something i read sometime ago which is very useful for people who just got into photography. The one most common question is why my shots are blur? wat shutter speed to use?
It's pretty simple, basic rules is 1/x shutter speed, in which x = focal length.
Example:
u using a 18-55mm lens, when shooting at 55mm you will need 1/55 s. However, due to the crop factor in digital body, we need to multiply with the crop factor. so instead of 1/55 s it becomes 1/88 s which is around 1/80s.
A simple chart for you all
